About this Module
The Human Papillomavirus (HPV) STD Module is a web-based training course designed to guide clinicians in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of HPV infections. This module is based on original content developed by the National Network of STD Clinical Prevention Training and incorporates recommendations from the 2015 CDC STD Treatment Guidelines. The original online HPV STD Module was developed by the Division of STD Prevention, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.Last Updated: February 19th, 2017

Target AudienceThe Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Self-Study STD Module is intended for the following clinicians who desire a basic introduction to STD diagnosis and management:

- Describe the virology and transmission of human papillomavirus.

- State routine human papillomavirus screening recommendations for different patient populations.
- List the CDC-recommended treatment regimens for human papillomavirus infections.
- Summarize indications and efficacy of human papillomavirus infections vaccines.
