CME + MOC Notice
ONLY physicians who are board certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and provide required ABIM information are eligible to earn CME credit and Maintenance of Certification (MOC) points on the National STD Curriculum.
As of October 4, 2021, American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) board certified physicians may concurrently earn free CME and Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Part II (medical knowledge) points on the National STD Curriculum 2nd Edition when CME is offered for the activity. Board certified physicians who created a National STD Curriculum account before October 4 must provide required ABIM information here to earn CME + MOC for any activities completed on or after October 4, 2021.
All the National STD Curriculum CME completion data for eligible board certified physicians will be reported by the University of Alabama School of Medicine (UASOM) to ABIM through the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS). This reporting will be done daily. No other participant information will be shared with ACCME or ABIM. Continuing Medical Education (CME) Notice
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the University of Alabama School of Medicine (UASOM) and the University of Washington (UW). The UASOM is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians
The University of Alabama School of Medicine designates this online enduring material for a maximum of 2.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Notice
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 2.5 Medical Knowledge MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
