A 28-year-old man presents to a clinic with a pruritic rash on his penis, scrotum (Figure 1), and left upper thigh region. Several burrows are seen on the left upper thigh, and microscopic examination of a skin scraping shows mites and eggs, consistent with Sarcoptes scabiei infection (Figure 2).
